Our cat Mozzie (short "o" like "coffee") went missing yesterday (Oct. 27) from the Berkshire subdivision in the Blackman area of Murfreesboro. He is nine years old and 16 lbs, and he's a beautiful dark orange stripey cat with a white patch on his chest, white paws, an M-shaped birthmark on his forehead, and a small black dot on his upper lip. He has always been an indoor cat so we are very worried about him especially with the weather getting cold and blustery. He's usually very social and affectionate, but he might be feeling scared/defensive. He is great with people (especially kids!) and tolerates dogs, but he does not typically get along with other cats. If you're the one who finds him (or if your tip helps us find him), we're offering a $500 cash or Venmo reward. We're fairly sure he wouldn't stray too far, but he might have headed toward the Hillwood/Blackman Farms neighborhood near Blackman Elementary because we just moved from there a few months ago.
