If you're going out on Halloween, remember these safety tips:
Never drive drunk. Get a designated driver or plan to pay for a ride home. If you are driving, go slowly through neighborhoods. Kids will be active and can sometimes dart into the street unexpectedly. If you're going trick-or-treating make sure you decorate costumes or candy bags with reflective strips and brightly-colored clothing to alert drivers at night. Parents or guardians should carry a flashlight. Use sidewalks whenever possible.
