Duo Takes $10K Worth Of Handbags From West Village Store: Police

WEST VILLAGE, NY — Police are looking for two men seen on video surveillance footage walking into a Christian Louboutin store in the West Village on Tuesday and taking six handbags worth more than $10,000. The robbery took place around 1:14 p.m. on Tuesday at the designer store at 59 Horatio Street, police said. The duo walked into the store together, and one man displayed a knife while threatening an employee, police said. The men then quickly ransacked the store, removing six handbags from display shelves valued at $10,420, police said. The pair then ran out of the store, with one of the men fleeing east on Horatio Street and the other fleeing west. No injuries were reported.
