Extremely friendly one-eared cat found

This cat came up to me on North Charles street, super friendly and affectionate. He is neutered and appears to be very healthy. He's missing an ear, but it looks like it healed a long time ago. He's friendly and well cared for, he's got to be someone's beloved pet, or at least he was until very recently. I tried getting him to a vet but I was on foot and couldn't carry him half a mile home. Though he did tolerate being held and carried for a few blocks. I'm sure he would be easy to catch considering he came up to both my friend and me, and was fine being picked up. He is an absolute sweetheart and I want him to find a home where he belongs. I would take him in an instant, but I can't have pets where I live!!
