Ampersand NY Operations Co. is seeking a plant operator who will be responsible for all operation and maintenance activities of an automated hydroelectric generating station located in the Capital District. This could be an entry level position for a candidate with a mechanical aptitude that has the motivation and ability to learn new subject matter from our experienced field staff. Duties include inspection and operation of a hydroelectric generating facility and associated maintenance work. This is a full time position and pay will be on an hourly basis. It is expected the operator visit the plant daily. On call rotation is required. We are looking for a candidate with: --Experience with rotating machinery --Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electro-mechanical systems --Ability to read schematics -- PLC knowledge a plus ANYOC is an equal opportunity employer and strives to maintain a safe, positive and productive working environment.
