HME is currently recruiting for a Janitor to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. The hours/days for this position will be as follows: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm. Apply Directly to HME Here: What you will do in this position: - Clean, disinfect, and resupply restrooms in accordance with the approved schedule. - Remove litter, wastepaper, and broken-down boxes from buildings, disposing of waste in proper dumpsters (i.e. recyclable, non-recyclable) - Vacuum carpeted floors and performs high and low dusting. - Wet mop tile floors and performs spot-cleaning, as needed - Provide general maintenance and secures storage/supply rooms. - Escort cleaning suppliers making deliveries. - Keep track of equipment used within scope of job. What you need to succeed in this position: - Good communication skills (bilingual preferred) - Knowledge of and safe use of all cleaning chemicals and equipment. - 2-3 years of experience preferred. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to handle or manipulate objects. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, sit, work with computer and office equipment, machinery, or electrical tools, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee will occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
