Are you an experienced Auto Mechanic looking for a great place to work? A busy auto mechanic shop in Eugene is looking for a mechanic to join their team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Using diagnostic methods to identify potential problems in a vehicle. • Performing basic automotive care, such as brakes, oil changes, heating and air-conditioning maintenance, changing spark plugs, etc. • Repairing or replacing worn or defective parts of a vehicle. • Performing thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems • Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS • Two (2) or more years of experience as an auto mechanic • ASE Certification • High school diploma or equivalent • History of being punctual, having good work attendance, and mutual team respect • Excellent problem-solving ability and communication skills OTHER DETAILS • Schedule: Full-Time • Pay Rate: $20-$36/hr starting DOE This is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive wage DOE.
