ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The description and responsibilities listed below represents the most significant duties of this position. It is not intended to be all-inclusive. Duties may be added or deleted at the discretion of management. o Overall knowledge of company and customer goals o Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. o Use hand and power tools to clean, finish, deburr, polish and grind parts. o Work under the direction of the General Manager and/or Receiving Lead to clean and finish products according to drawing/print. o Perform repairs such as small dents or scratches. o Follow and accurately interpret written instructions, drawings, planning, sketches, and best practice worksheets. o Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures. o Ensure proper documentation is entered on work travelers and timecards (including correct quantities). QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE Two years related experience and /or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. • Work under limited oversight. • Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing. • Must be able to use mathematics relevant to functions. • Requires familiarity with machine tools, precision instruments and good manual dexterity. • Require the ability to follow demonstrated steps. • Working understand of how product flows in and out of the work area and its impact. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Additional duties may include but not limited to walking up and down stairs. Building cardboard shipping boxes and packaging product to prepare for shipment. Occasional weight lifting no more than 40 lbs.
