Full Time RI – Maintenance Technician: A RI Property Management company seeks a full-time maintenance tech to provide routine maintenance for both residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic mechanical and electrical repair experience. Duties include, but are not limited to, stocking and maintaining a company vehicle for work travel, tracking and completing daily maintenance requests, general repairs, painting and turning over apartments (make ready for move ins), plumbing, minor electrical, and snow removal. On-call responsibilities will be required. Individual must have experience and skills in overall building maintenance and must possess excellent interpersonal skills in order to interact well with residents and be able to work independently. Daily communicating and reporting to managers/owners a must. This role requires a self-starter that can work with multiple property assignments in a day, is highly organized, and can effectively communicate with tenants, co-workers, property managers, and vendors to resolve maintenance requests working in a team environment. A valid driver's license is required. A BCI check will be required before hiring. We offer a very competitive salary and benefits package.
