Description

Help clean Sewell Mill Creek and keep litter from reaching the Chattahoochee River. We will provide you with trash bags, grabbers (litter sticks), orange safety vests, blue latex gloves (sizes small, medium, and large), and data cards to record the debris we collect. We will have safety and first aid supplies, coolers of water, and neck buffs for participants while supplies last. For the stream cleanups, wear clothes that can get wet and closed-toes shoes like tennis shoes or water shoes. If you have your own pair of rubber boots or waders, you could bring them. You may also want to bring your own cotton gloves to wear over the blue gloves. Covid-19 Precautions: Equipment will be sanitized between all events and during events as needed. Group sizes have been reduced to not exceed 10 people. Increased hygiene and hand washing prior to and during events. Physical distance mandatory during event. Masks are required and will be worn by instructors.
