Alamon Inc. is currently hiring for a Utility Pole Inspection Supervisor to be assigned in the Northeast Region of the US (NY, NJ, PA, and MA). This position requires travel throughout one or more states as required. The ideal candidate needs to be a self-starter that possesses motivation, integrity, respect, and honesty. JOB DUTIES: ● Possess Leadership qualities to effectively supervise, train and motivate your team ● Operate vehicles to transport material, equipment, and crew to and from job sites including utility vehicles (UTVs) and trailer towing as needed. ● Perform work according to standard work practices, procedures, and customer specifications, including but not limited to excavating soil, inspecting structures, applying preservatives and/or coatings and restoring the job site to its original condition ● Maintain a positive company image, which includes the appearance of the crew, vehicles, and work areas. ● Work with inspectors to ensure that accurate, complete, and timely data related to timekeeping, work performed, and customer uploads are met. ● Promote and enforce safety by ensuring company policies and safe work practices are followed. ● Assist in evaluating bid / no-bid opportunities and compiling bid responses ● Be accountable for project safety, quality, on-time delivery, profitability, and customer satisfaction results. ● Manage the planning, logistics, materials, and employee deployments for all assigned projects. ● Organize resources and prioritize work to complete the job within the established time frame. ● Be able to balance time between projects and office duties efficiently from a hotel or home office environment ● Maintain good customer and public relations by maintaining a professional appearance, being courteous, and communicating in a clear, respectful manner ● Creates oversees and tracks schedules for assigned projects, from pre-approval through project close-out to ensure on-time delivery. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: ● Pole inspection industry experience preferred ● Planning/scheduling and project management experience ● Self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to producing high quality work product, and ability to multi-task under tight timeframes ● Team member management experience ● Strong verbal and written communication & presentation skills ● Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) WORK ENVIRONMENT: Will be working outdoors year-around in all kinds of weather conditions and terrain; may work for long periods in hot, cold, wet, windy, or icy conditions.
