The person in this position at the Imperial Industrial Park will assist Carpenters and Maintenance Supervisors in all aspects of facility maintenance. Ideal candidates will have some work experience or trade equivalent education in the areas of painting, carpentry (including framing and dry-wall construction) and/or masonry work, or grounds keeping and lawn maintenance, but ideal candidates who are willing to learn are encouraged to apply. Candidates who have basic knowledge and understanding of safe working habits and environments will be considered, even without direct work experience. You may have experience with operation of skid loader, fork lift, personnel lift and other construction equipment, that is a plus, but not required. Training is provided. The position requires driver's license for operation of company vehicles. All employees are required to wear safety shoes on site at all times and be familiar with or able to be trained on other safety equipment needed for the job. Employees should be able to safely lift 30+ lbs and use hand tools. This is a full-time position with general hours Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
