FASKIA presents their Annual Masquerade Charity Ball FASKIA presents their Annual Masquerade Charity Ball on April 17, 2021. Tickets are $60.00/pp and $110.00/couple. We will have Line Dancing, Best Masks and Dance Contest, and a Cash Bar. FASKIA's mission is to promote positive change in the community through supportive involvement and empowering women in all facets of life: education, economic, spirituality and wellness, thereby strengthening families. We provide support and services to: Two Women and Children Shelters Provide Assistance to the Powder Springs Task Force Back 2 School Bash Adopt a Family in Crisis (Christmas and Thanksgiving) Canned Goods Drive Mentoring to Students in the Community Women' Community Luncheon to Educate and Promote Awareness of Current Issues FASKIA is proud to announce that we will be awarding our FIRST Scholarship to a deserving young lady during this year's event. The Scholarship is in memory of Kayla Bailey who has inspired our project, Kayla's Kloset. Kayla's Kloset is a Community Service Project that focuses on young girls who are underrepresented, and under served in the Atlanta Area. Donations of dresses, shoes, and accessories will be used to give those young girls the opportunity to look and feel beautiful on their special occasions such as Prom, Homecoming, Balls, etc. without the high costs associated with purchasing dresses, shoes, etc. We are currently accepting new and gently worn formal gowns, shoes, and accessories as FASKIA prepares for our Inaugural 'Say Yes, to Kayla's Dress' with Tapp Middle School that was delayed during the Pandemic of COVID-19. As always, proceeds from our Annual Ball supports the ongoing mission and community service projects of FASKIA.
