Description

I have a 2 year old blue brindle female pitbull who needs a new home ASAP. We have not been able to give her the life she deserves for a long time, and its time for her to find a new family that can meet her needs. This is Kool-Aid... she is very sweet, happy, and energetic alllll the time. She shows no signs of aggression with me/my husband, my children, or our Shihpoo (10lbs). However, Kool-aid will not stop jumping onto people/children at any given time - if it were just when she was excited that would be one thing, but this is constant. She is large a heavy. We are not new to this breed and have had others for 10+ years prior to her. We have attempted training with voice commands, clickers, treats, crating, trying to burn energy with her, etc. She will not stop jumping on us, specifically my younger children. The kids are now terrified of her unless she is gated in the laundry area, or on her chain in the back yard (bc it isnt fully fenced). Which means that Kool-aid is literally never able to run free and play and be a dog. And its so sad. I wish things were different, but we have exhausted our possible resolutions. Kool-aid needs a new home with no small children who would be frightened by her jumping on them. Older children or teens would be fine. Like I noted, she is not aggressive and has no intention to harm anyone - she simply has no clue that she is like a tank coming through! At this point, she needs a home ASAP as we are currently mid-renovations and I cannot bring her indoors anytime soon. She is cold, and it is unfair and I want to avoid having to surrender her to the pound, but I will if I have to because she cannot continue to stay outdoors in this weather. If you are interested or have questions, please reply to the post via email and I will respond as quickly as possible.
