Mechanic / Pin chaser needed to perform maintenance and repairs on bowling equipment in Chicago Looking for people that know how to use tools and can troubleshoot. No experience necessary on bowling equipment. We are willing to train on our equipment. Full time for mostly nights and weekends. Role and Responsibilities: • Responsible for maintaining the centers equipment (40 Lanes) under the direction of the Head Mechanic. • Assists in maintaining pinsetters, automatic scoring equipment, and lane maintenance. • Follow all maintenance procedures currently in place. • Will maintain a safe working environment. • Preventative maintenance. • Keep record of all machine stops and repairs. • Ensure that workshop and machine areas are clean. • Part time position will be weekend nights and some week days. Minimum Requirements: • Experience with bowling equipment is not needed but a plus. • Ability to use basic hand tools, lubrication equipment, meters, power tools. • Must be willing to work mostly night and weekend shifts. • Must be able to listen attentively and rapidly process information, and demonstrate the ability to work under pressure. • Must have a good sense of balance and be able to bend, kneel, sit, crouch, or crawl frequently, and regularly lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to one hundred (100) pounds.
