We are currently interviewing for a full-time Commercial Maintenance person for Tampa Eye Clinic. The ideal candidate would be responsible for the following Duties • Working with contractors in areas of responsibility as needed • Be on-call for building emergencies • Oversee the setup and tear-down of special events as needed • Be able to travel to multiple locations based on the needs of the organization • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned Cleaning and Custodial Duties • Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all restrooms, including fixtures and furniture • Various janitorial jobs • Grounds keeping as needed at multiple locations, including but not limited to sweeping walkways, raking, trimming, cutting, weeding, basic plant/foliage care • Inspect customer waiting areas for presentability and cleaning/correcting deficiencies as necessary • Report facility damage, non-functioning equipment and wear and tear to management • Perform minor maintenance repairs Ability to • Work effectively with others, as coordination with multiple departments within the organization is frequently required • Exercise good judgement and make sound decisions • Prepare and maintaining accurate and complete records and files • Work independently in the absence of supervision • Prioritize tasks and complete projects in a timely manner • Establish and maintaining effective working relationships with employees and those contacted during the course, of work. Qualifications • Good customer service skills • Being willing to have a background check • Good driving record • Proactive and positive attitude
