Our Local Funeral Home is seeking a California Licensed Embalmer. Job duties but not limited to: Embalm human remains within accordance of California State laws. Prepare human remains for viewing, burial and other final disposition. Ability to dress, cosmetize and casket human remains. Properly containerize loved ones for ship outs Maintain a respectful work environment and positive working relationships with our third party removal companies, Hospital, Care facility staff & Coroners Offices. Willingness to help other co-workers and individuals with respect Complete death calls and perform transports from places of death. Adhere to our attendance policy and be flexible in order to accommodate families expectations Abide by company dress code. Adhere to safety rules and funeral service industry regulations. Report unsafe practices to management. Keep management promptly and fully informed of all issues, matters of significance, and take prompt corrective action where necessary. Perform other duties as assigned or directed by management. Maintain Inventory and supplies'
