Local Construction Company seeks a qualified carpenter to join our team.
Candidate must have the following:
- Minimum of (5) years relevant experience in the following-
Layout, measure, cut and install various fixtures and millwork for doors, windows, ceiling panels, staircases, decking, handrails, etc.
Build and installing wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists, studs, etc.

Fitting and installing window frames, doors and weather stripping
Installation of millwork, cabinetry, shelving, drywall and insulation
Floor installations – subfloor prep, and installation of all types of finish flooring materials
Tile installation and repairs – floors, walls, backsplashes, etc.
Finish carpentry such as base/shoe molding, window / door casing, crown molding etc.
Exterior Finishes / Repairs – Roofing repairs and new installation, Siding repairs and new installation – vinyl, cedar, batton board, hardie plank etc. and Gutter repairs and installations.
- Understanding knowledge and ability to read blueprints and designs to complete projects.
- Ability to calculate necessary materials and lumber for completion of project
- Understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
- Must have your own tools
- Must possess clean valid driver’s license
- Professional and courteous demeanor
- Ability to problem solve and meet scheduled deadlines
- Work with minimal supervision as well as a team leader as needed
