Our company has recently moved to the Journal Square area of Jersey City and we are looking to hire another Fulfillment Associate. This is a full-time role that would start as a part-time role and would switch to full-time within a month. We would like you to work 5 days per week, and one of those days might be Saturday, though we are still very interested in speaking with you if you can only do weekdays. Role and Responsibilities: We send at-home testing kits to patients who want to have their health checked. You will be assembling those kits so they are ready for shipment as orders come in and shipping them out once orders have been placed. There is no actual assembly - it is more like taking multiple items and placing them in the same box. Some of the specific tasks are: - Folding the small boxes that we ship to our patients - Bagging the various components that go into our testing kits - Applying stickers and labels to our test cards and return envelopes - Placing everything in the boxes - Scanning the barcodes on the return envelope and testing cards - Taking the shipments to the Post Office - Trash/recycling removal - Bringing deliveries up to our office - Setting up and cleaning up your work area - The shipping component requires considerable computer use. You should have computer skills and comfort working on a computer, though you do not need advanced computer skills. We will be in an air-conditioned/heated office space. You will be working with five other people initially and we will continue to grow from there. This job is performed mostly seated and is not a typical fulfillment warehouse job. No standing all day, no operating heavy machinery, no heavy lifting. Start Date: Immediate. Pay: $13/hour Location: 2 blocks from the Journal Square PATH Station in Jersey City Hours: 9:00-5:00 Monday-Saturday. You would be here for five of those six days, though you can work 6 days/week as the company grows and has more work to do. COVID-19: We are very conscious of COVID.
