Exotic Bird Sitting - Specializing in cocktiels and small birds. Twenty-five years experience with my own 'teils (from egg to...yes...grave) It should be a no-brainer, but needs to be said: Your exotic bird is not a dog nor a cat and cannot be treated as such, and especially if you have only one, caged bird. Cocktiels are a "flock" bird: They need regular companionship either with another bird - or you...or someone who knows birds. I loved my 'teils and knew the importance of having someone "there" for them when I was away for more than a day. My services for your 'tiel or small bird: - Area within 10 miles of Woodstock, however, I will be open to make reasonable arrangements (fee will vary). - Contracting for over 12 hours, re: 2 full days or more. - $50.00 "day" includes: - Travel - Two visits (morning, evening) each "day" - Spending at least one hour with your beloved bird in that day - Cleaning cage; fresh food and water And making sure that your bird(s) and your house is secured. To avoid scammers I will only accept emails through Craigslist: INFO MUST INCLUDE: - Your name, location, what type of bird - Dates when will you be away and/or dates that your birds will need care - NO phone numbers/text - just your email contact for now. If I understand that you are a viable person with a need for someone to care for your bird, I will respond to your email in a timely manner and will go from there.
