Description
This is our almost year and a half old golden boy. He is still not nurtured, due to ongoing GI issues we’ve struggled to solve with the vet..
we are about to have a baby and have struggled tremendously to train him over the past year. He listens to basic commands, but can be very guarding of things around him and react aggressively.
We want him to have the best life possible and also want to keep the safety of our family in mind. We have taken him to trainers, but have had trouble making good behaviors around his territorial aggression stick.
I believe he has the potential to be a very good boy and is still young and primed for more in- depth training! With people/a person able to give him the time, training and exercise he needs he truly can be great.
Sadly this is not us, we were unprepared To face this reality with him - not thinking goldens could even be aggressive! Silly of us to have rushed in on his adoption before considering this a possibility. I am genuinely not equipped at this time to work through this with him, and just want a safe a peaceful home to bring baby home to.
As we are still paying off a hefty adoption bill on him, a negotiable re-homing fee would need to be discussed/greatly appreciated…
