Join W2 Communications, Buchanan & Edwards/R2C, ESPIRE, Ironistic, and members of the DC community as we host a fundraiser for REACT DC! About REACT DC: REACT DC began as a motivated group of professional military spouses with backgrounds in law, intelligence operations, military service, education, and non-profit work. With a strong desire to assist in the Afghan refugee crises, and using our collective knowledge and specialized skills, REACT DC was founded in September 2021. We provide compassionate, comprehensive, and cost-effective resettlement assistance for recently arrived refugees from Afghanastan in the DC metro area. REACT DC works with families on the ground level to enable them on a path to self-reliance and integration into their new lives in America. About the Event: Join us for an Oktoberfest themed charity event and help this group of professional military spouses and volunteers raise money to assist with the Afghan refugee crises. Tickets: $50/person – includes great German Beer and food provided by our friends at the Village Brauhaus. Wednesday, November 10, 6pm until 9pm Village Brauhaus 710 King Street, Alexandria, VA Lederhosen and Dirndls encouraged! PROST! • $50 – Individual tickets • $100 – Friend sponsor: Provides transportation vouchers for a family. • $250 – Partner sponsor: Provides immediate needs to new families during their temporary housing phase (food, clothing, infant needs, etc). • $500 – Silver sponsor: Provides immediate needs plus medical support and initial program costs toward self-reliance. • $1000 – Gold sponsor: Provides temporary housing for one family for one week with full immediate needs support and initial program costs towards self reliance. • $2000 – Platinum: Provides full new home setup for one family (includes all furnishings, kitchen supplies, full pantry, car seats, adult bicycle, computer, etc) enabling a family on a path to self-reliance.
