Join us for a Trail Timeout and keep Colorado's Highways clean with ACA! Please help us keep our gorgeous state clean, and take a trail timeout with us!  Roadside litter costs millions of dollars annually to control. Often, it is impossible to keep up with the trash that thoughtless people have dumped. Always Choose Adventures works to keep Colorado beautiful by picking up litter along our highway.Always Choose Adventures has adopted a Highway through the Spruce Up Colorado program and are committed to clean State Highway 6th Ave from milepost 275.12-276. PLAN: Look for the ACA Flag. Meet at the US Marine Corps Memorial. 16899 W Colfax Ave, Golden, CO 80401 You will be assigned a safety vest, trash bag and trash picker. Please take a moment to watch this safety video before you participate in this volunteer event: https://www.codot.gov/programs/adopt-a-highway/videos.html After the clean-up we will have lunch at Wrigleys Sports Bar, 18200 W Colfax Ave, Golden, CO 80401. We aim to help those people to get off their devices to learn Leave No Trace principles, meet adventurists to explore with, learn new hobbies safely and grow as happy individuals!   We strive to provide tools, training, confidence, and assistance in order to create a solid foundation of activity, adventure, and appreciation for the outdoors for our members.   Since 2016, we've been able to help members of our tribe with cerebral palsy, cystic fibrosis, autism, traumatic brain injuries, asthma, COPD and chronic pain get off the couch and outdoors doing so for FREE or affordable rates to all. ​ We host many events every month; from hiking, backpacking, climbing, camping, canyoneering, to skiing, snowboarding, ice climbing, snow cave camping, and much more!
