Large private school located in the North Miami Beach/Aventura area has an immediate need for an experienced Facilities/Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities include providing general maintenance of school facilities, grounds, and physical plant. This position performs tasks related to, but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, environmental, carpentry, and event set up.
Qualified candidates must have at least two years of maintenance experience within a specialized trade area or five years of general maintenance experience with proficiency in all areas of building maintenance. School/Campus experience a plus.
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs, capable of climbing ladders and working from a high lift, able to operate heavy equipment as needed, and use a computer to retrieve work orders. Must have a current driver’s license, eligibility to work in the United States, and ability to work overtime. Must be able to pass a level II fingerprint check (FDLE/FBI). English communication skills preferred.
This is a full-time position with a daily Monday to Friday schedule of 7:00 am to 4 pm.
