Mom started the flower business back in 2001 when the shop was in Playa Del Rey. Then came 2016, Jane moved back to California from living abroad in Seoul, teaching English and working for a photographer, and Mom decided it was time to remodel the shop. So Jane, not knowing what to do with her life but after spending some time in the shop, Jane quickly realized how much she enjoyed working with people, flowers and especially Mom. With Mom's experience and her daughter's fresh ideas, J Flowers blossomed. Pull&Thread is a family-run home decor showroom with a 43 year old legacy.  We specialize in 100% hand-knotted, naturally-dyed rugs that trek from countries proud of their unique craftsmanship. Alongside home decor, we strongly believe in supporting other small businesses and creatively collaborating with artists and visionaries that strive to have a positive impact in this world. Pull&Thread is also a metaphor for joining individuals together to form societal masterpieces of change.
