Emerging Illusions III This is an eventful evening focused on the hidden worlds, bringing them out of the woodwork to join together and bring untold stories to life. It is about skills that are overlooked and uncredited. Those that become lost art come from intensive practice and the passion that helps sustain a balanced living in these contrived times. This fashion is art varying from old lore on a continuum of industrious futurism in a wearable form. It brings to life characters, creatures and creations of another time, another place and another world that has become misunderstood through fear of the shadows in time. In integrating performance it is to enhance this idea; for fashion is not only what you wear, rather it is what you imagine as you wear it, how you feel and how you present it. It is not a form of ego or attitude, but a livelihood for expression and gratitude. The many people involved in this show have integrated through the weaving of an enhanced underground collective and have come to find there is a place for us all as we present our own illusions through performance and meld together our emerging process of growth.
