Join the LA chapter of the Feminist Bird Club for a festive Halloween Bird Sit (no walking) at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery! Happy Halloween!! The Los Angeles chapter of the Feminist Bird Club is holding a festive Halloween bird event! Join us Halloween morning for a cemetery "bird sit" - we'll watch for birds from one location, no walking! This is a beginner-friendly event and all are welcome. It should also be a great event for anyone with mobility challenges, since there are flat paved paths throughout the cemetery and the group will mainly stay in one place for the duration of the event. Space is limited, so please be sure to RSVP. WHERE TO MEET: We'll meet at Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Sunday, October 31, at 8:30 am. Come to the Cecil B. DeMille Tomb (marked on Google). It's in the NE corner of the cemetery, just north of the little pond, at 34.0897005, -118.3170448. WHAT TO BRING: Bring a mask/face covering and binoculars (we will have limited pairs to lend).
