Phi Theta Kappa at DCC invite you to join us in our panel discussion on barrier crimes' affects on future employment in juvenile cases. The panel discussion will be held at Danville Community College in Oliver Hall at the Temple Building. Danville Community College Location: 1008 S Main St, Danville, VA 24541 Panel Discussion on juvenile delinquency and barrier crimes November 18, 2021 11:00am to 12:00pm Panelists Include: Chief of Police - Scott Booth Mental Health Clinician - Abena Bediako Program Director of TARE, CAPE, SCALE-UP Programs - Paul Farrar Community resident - Diann Watkins Recruiter for TARE, CAPE, SCALE-UP Programs - Barry Mayo In light of the recent juvenile delinquency events that have occurred within our community, Phi Theta Kappa believes this panel discussion will bring spotlight on the fact that juvenile delinquency is a problem in our communities today and can be prevented.This event aims to inform the community about the affects of barrier crimes on future employment opportunities for the younger generation. The great minds on the panel will be ready to educate and provide programs and mental health resources to the community.
