Main Street Chillicothe 's Memory Tree Lighting & Dedication
Main Street Chillicothe is hosting their annual Memory Tree Lighting and Dedication ceremony in our beautiful Silver Moon Plaza, 707 Webster Street. This is an event where people are able to honor a loved one(s) or a friend that has passed on before us. This year would be a perfect time also to memorialize those that have passed because of COVID-19.
Bulbs are $10.00 each or you may purchase 3 for $25.00. When clicking on the $8.33 it is what it will cost each for the 3 ornaments, which automatically comes up 3. You may also call the Main Street Office at 660-646-4071 and purchase using a debit card or a credit card. You will then give us your information as well as the name(s) that are to be put inside the bulb. Bulbs will be placed on the Memory Tree and remain there until the end of January 2022. Our tree will remain lit throughout the holiday time.
The First Baptist Children's Choir under the direction of Yulli Stephen and with the assistance of her husband, Dr. Enricho Stephen, will perform. After the performance a short message will be given by one of our local ministers.
After the message, then the names will be read by Terry Gardner, Citizens Bank and Trust. When the names are read, there will be a bell that tolls. To follow will be the dedication of our memory tree. The tree will remain lit throughout the holiday season and until the end of January, 2022.
Main Street Chillicothe is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with emphasis on Downtown Revitalization and Historic Preservation.
