Wind Mitigation Inspection
In this three-hour section, students will learn about enhancing a home’s wind mitigation features according to the Construction Industry Licensing Board (CILB) standards, and how to complete the Office of Insurance Regulation’s Uniform Mitigation Verification Inspection Form (#OIR-B1-1802).
4-Point Inspection
This training will cover the four major systems of the home: the electrical, HVAC, roof covering, and plumbing. Students will learn how to identify deficiencies and safety issues, and how to document their findings using the latest 4-Point and Roof Certification Inspection forms.
Roof Shingle Installation Inspection
This class will cover how to safely and properly inspect a roof’s shingle installation and flashing based on the methods recommended by the Florida Building Code (FBC) and the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA). Advanced Roof Inspection
This six-hour section will discuss how to safely and properly inspect a roof based on the installation methods recommended by the Florida Building Code (FBC) and the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA).
Intro to FBC for Fla Home Inspectors
This is a four-hour course covering the history of the Unified Florida Building Code (FBC) and how it relates to inspecting homes here in Florida (#0001405).
This class is approved for 18 CE hours.
