Start the season with creatively decorated tables laden with tea and tasty treats plus a fashion show and Santa's Workshop! The members of the Temple Terrace Woman's Club eagerly anticipated their Holiday Open House and were signing up new homes for the tour - until YOU KNOW WHAT happened and everything came to a screeching halt! But now we are ready to get together again in friendship and enjoy the company of women who need to relax a bit before the rush of the holiday season takes over! What could be a more pleasant way to spend an afternoon than to chat with friends at tables decorated creatively depending on how the decorator celebrates the holiday , to sip tea and munch on tasty morsels prepared by many cooks and bakers and to top it off with a fashion show by Chicos! And a Santa's Workshop will be tucked into the Woodmont Clubhouse for a little shopping as well. The GFWC Temple Terrace Woman’s Club is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs which is the largest and oldest women’s service organization in the world. The organization focuses on 6 different community service projects: Arts & Culture, Civic Engagement & Outreach, Education & Libraries, Environment and Health & Wellness. The Federation Motto is "In great things, Unity; In small things Liberty; In all things, Charity." The GFWC Temple Terrace Woman’s Club meets the fourth Wednesday of each month except for the months of June and July. In August there is a Membership Social and Salad Luncheon. All meetings are held at Woodmont Clubhouse, 415 Woodmont Avenue in Temple Terrace, Florida, unless otherwise instructed.
