Rapid Logistics is an industry leader in logistics with stations all over the US. We are looking for both full and part-time drivers, experience preferred but not required. Must be self-motivated. This position is for independent contractors, meaning you choose your own availability. RESPONSIBILITES Successfully deliver no more than 120 packages daily. (Compare to mandatory 300-400 packages to be delivered if you worked for Amazon/Fedex) Follow strict safety standards on and off the road. Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner. Must deliver 75% of daily packages to receive weekly $100 sign on bonus. Vehicle will be provided, but as an independent contractor you will be responsible for financing the gas for the first 120 miles each day. Any additional mileage will be covered by the company. COMPENSATION $2,500 sign on bonus paid out in $100 increments for 25 weeks. Pay period is weekly. Paycheck is dependent on how many days you work, but you choose your own schedule. 5 days of work = $925 tax-free take-home pay. REFERRAL INCENTIVE $250 for every driver you refer. You will receive your check after the referral has worked for 90 days. QUALIFICATIONS MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVING RECORD FOR PAST 7 YEARS (Please do not apply if you do not have a clean driving record for the past 7 years including speeding tickets, traffic control violations, accidents, etc. It will show up when we run your motor vehicle report and we will have to terminate you immediately. Our insurance doesn’t allow us to put you on our policy without a clean record.) Must be 23+ years old. Must have valid Texas driver’s license. Must be able to move boxes up to 50lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must pass background check and drug screening.
