Hello! My name is Kate, and I own a small Amazon business that sells cosmetics. I run my business from home, and I live at Central and Camelback in downtown Phoenix. I am looking for a part time employee to help with packaging inventory and office duties. The schedule is flexible, and it will be roughly 10-15 hours a week. As long as the weekly goals are met, you’re free to come when it’s convenient, but it’ll usually be 1-2 days a week. This will be a 1099 position. Responsibilities: · Packaging inventory: Most of your duties will be packaging units to ship inventory to Amazon’s warehouse. This will include proper boxing and labeling of units, using the computer to see the correct units and locations, and boxing up the shipments. You’ll need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds or so. · Physical Inventory Count: Once a month, you’ll count what we have in the office and update the amounts on the Excel spreadsheet · Office organization: As inventory arrives at the office, you’ll unpack it and put it in its proper place. There will also be occasional organization projects that will come up. · Basic maintenance: cutting up boxes for recycling, making sure workstations are cleared · Occasional Order Fulfillment: I mainly ship items from Amazon’s warehouse, but I also ship orders directly to customers from my home office. This includes identifying correct units and addresses, packaging, shipping. You’ll drop these at the Post Office when you’re finished. You: · Previous e-commerce experience · I know all jobs talk about attention to detail, but this is very important in this position. I care more about accuracy than speed. · Stable transportation (i.e. your own car) is ideal, since part of your duties will include dropping boxes at UPS and the Post Office · I have two very friendly and cute dogs, so make sure you’re cool with pets · Basic computer and printer literacy. You’ll be printing stuff, using the Amazon Seller Central site, and occasionally using Excel · Provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination.
