TAMPA, FL — Sprouts Farmers Market is now open at Tampa Heights at the Armature Works, 101 W. 7th Ave. Known for a curated selection of healthy products, including affordable organic produce, fresh meat and seafood, immune-boosting supplements and plant-based products, the Tampa Heights Sprouts is the 25th location in Florida. To celebrate the opening, the first 200 customers at Wednesday's opening received 25 percent off their total initial purchase. Sprouts is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Through Sprouts' Food Rescue program, the new store will donate groceries that are no longer fit for sale but are perfectly edible and nutrient rich to Feeding Tampa Bay, which is leading the movement to end hunger. In 2020, Sprouts donated an equivalent of approximately 23 million meals to those in need through the program. The Tampa Heights store carries a broad selection of local produce from Florida-based producers including Noble Citrus and Egan Family Farms, which is distributed from Sprouts' new distribution center in Orlando.
