BitBasel welcomes participants of all ages & skill levels to our CryptoArt Hackathon! ___________________________Join Our Discord__________________________ 1 Crypto Community, 1 Hackathon, 2 Ways to Join! _______________________________________________________________________________________ TRACK 1: CALLING ALL CRYPTOARTISTS! _______________________________________________________________________________________ CryptoArtists: ALL ARTISTS WELCOME! Including: 3D Artists, Graphic & Digital Designers, Video Game Developers, Creators of Metaverses, Classical Painters, Generative Artists, VR/AR, etc. (Any Medium is accepted as long as it can be digitized, i.e. turned into an NFT or other form of CryptoArt.) CryptoArtist Challenge: Create a minimum of 1 art piece around one of the 6 CryptoArt Themes. Then Mint, Drop thousands, or Innovate with the use of NFTs. _______________________________________________________________________________________ 5 CryptoArt Themes in Partnership with YOUNGA by BridgingTheGap Ventures 1. General : Any submission that does not fall under the above themes _______________________________________________________________________________________ TRACK 2: CALLING ALL CRYPTOHACKERS! _______________________________________________________________________________________ CryptoHackers: Developers, Software Engineers, Blockchain Engineers, Data Scientists, Programmers, etc. CryptoHacker Challenge: Create a blockchain project or implement a blockchain based solution adding value to the relevant theme you focus on. You will be judged on the quality of your code, project, & presentation as well as the overall creativity & impact. _______________________________________________________________________________________ 3 CryptoHacker Themes -Blockchain/Web3 -NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens) -DeFi (Decentralized Finance) _______________________________________________________________________________________ Example approaches to the CryptoHacker CHALLENGE: -Visualizing energy grid usage data to understand the impact that crypto miners have on the environment - Create a predictive investment model of blockchain/crypto transactions - Predict what NFTs are going to be successful based NFT marketplace analytics (ex. visual, text, or other data types) -Create a decentralized application enabling educators to communicate with students or workers to collaborate -Create a smart contract that secures patient health data (ex. 721 or 1155, non-fungible or semi-fungible tokens) _______________________________________________________________________________________ Sample art pieces, datasets, models, & applications will be provided, but participants are encouraged to creatively use outside resources & tools to manufacture innovative projects. The Judging Rubrics will be released prior to the start of the CryptoArt Hackathon _______________________________________________________________________________________ All works must be submitted by 12pm EST (Noon) on November 26th for judging.
