KindPeoples is looking for a new member to join our Inventory Control (IC) team! The IC team is a core function within KindPeoples, employees are held to high standards of integrity and reliability, if you like routine and working behind the scenes this could be a great role for you! Inventory Control Specialist responsibility includes, but is not limited to: Setting up and performing inventory cycle counts, including: Investigating discrepancies to account for loss and escalate to the Inventory Control Manager as directed Performing reconciliations in the inventory management system, including providing accurate notes on steps taken in investigations Product Intake / Compliance The IC Specialist acts under the direction of the Inventory Control Manager to assure the timely intake of products, in compliance with California State Laws. This includes accurate inventory counts, looking for batch and test information on product packaging, and flagging potential problem products. Attention to detail is a MUST in this role. Driving Transfer Van (between retail locations) This position requires the employee to drive about 10 - 25% of the time (sometimes more) Must possess a clean driving record Retail locations are 3 miles apart, driver would transfer product one to two times per day Other Miscellaneous Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities General organization of inventory vault and sales floor High levels of communication with the retail sales team regarding day to day management of the Inventory Control functions Minimum Requirements: Minimum 25 years old Clean driving record Highly Organized Computer skills a must Communicates Effectively Works well in a fast paced environment Ability to multitask in a detailed fashion Must be comfortable with frequent lifting of up to 50lbs Inventory Control Specialists start at $16.00/ hour All offers are contingent on passing a background check, and applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
