Press release from the Town of Chelmsford: October 26, 2021 The Select Board is seeking a Chelmsford resident to serve on a seven-member Fire Station Study Committee.  The seven-person ad-hoc advisory committee will review reports pertaining to fire department call volume, station conditions, staffing levels, and apparatus needs. The committee will conduct further investigation and offer its recommendations by June 30, 2022.  The remaining members of the committee will be the fire chief, town manager, Select Board member, two firefighters' union members, and a Chelmsford resident appointed by the firefighters union.   Please submit an on-line committee application or letter of interest to the Select Board's Office by Tuesday, November 9.
