This pup is looking for a new home. He's an 11 month old Boxer, Border Collie. German Shepherd, Rottweiler, and Staffordshire Terrier Mix (according to his DNA test). He's not neutered yet. He's well house-trained. He's SUPER silly! He's great with kids, people, other dogs, cats, and loves to play as well as cuddle. He's super affectionate and lovable. His problem is that he has a history of growling and snapping over resources including space. He's bitten, but has been living with a behavioral trainer for a few months and has shown incredible improvement, and has had no incidents of biting since in his old home. He was a shelter puppy, to begin with, and gets really overly excited with food/treats. He's got a bunch of dog friends and is happy to make new friends anytime! When another dog gets aggressive with him, he backs down and de-escalates the situation. His favorite thing is to chew on a bone or other hard toy and he doesn't show his guarding behaviors over these toys, in fact, he loves to 'bring you his toy' when he's happy. He's going to need a home that will understand how to avoid issues by giving him high-value bones alone, and not approaching him or taking things like this from him. He may get along great with other animals in the house, or enjoy being the center of attention.
