WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man from Woodbridge is wanted by police in connection with gunshots that were heard near Winslow Court on Tuesday night. Police said the man, who they identified as Quinton Bernard Brown, also threatened an acquaintance. Around 11 p.m. on Tuesday night, residents near the 1900 block of Winslow Court in Woodbridge called police to report that several gun shots were fired. The residents also told officers that they saw a vehicle driving away after the shots were fired, according to a report from the Prince William County Police Department. "While canvassing the area, officers observed an unoccupied parked vehicle with damage consistent with being struck by projectiles," the police department wrote in their report. No other injuries or property damage was reported. During their investigation, police identified a victim, a 39-year-old man, who lived nearby and recently had an argument with an acquaintance. The acquaintance, who police identified as Brown, was accused of sending threats to the victim threatening another shooting. The police department said the damaged car did not belong to the victim. Authorities claimed that Brown also owns a vehicle similar to the one that residents saw flee the area on Tuesday night. The police department obtained arrest warrants for Brown, but they have been unable to locate him. He is charged with attempted malicious wounding, conspiracy to commit a malicious wounding, and threats by public airways. Brown is described as a 38-year-old Black man who is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 216 pounds. He has short black hair, brown eyes, a full beard, and a mustache.
