This is a long shot, but here goes: My mother worked for Fireman's Fund in San Francisco in the mid-to-late seventies and early eighties as a claims adjuster. She lived in Marin and San Rafael, but was known to be around the City and East Bay, as well. I grew up without my parents. Mom has debilitating health issues in addition to severe dementia and it's difficult to ascertain what she tells me is truth or a tall tale. I've never known my mom as a person outside of her illnesses. I would like to learn more about my mom from her friends in the area and from work, prior to having me and prior to getting sick. I'm not expecting to meet anyone in person, we can talk over the phone or via email. This will help me some unanswered questions that I may have, and assist with some long-needed closure.
