A new study indicates that Black households are more likely to be rent-burdened than other groups in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Bill Hethcock reports that this demographic spends on average 30.2 percent of their income on rent, according to an analysis by Zillow. Rent affordability for all DFW renters has decreased about 0.3 percent across all demographics since 2019— it now stands at 27 percent.
