Happy Wednesday, Austin! Another "boo-tastic" day is ahead of you. It's me again, Meagan Falcon your host of today's newsletter. Her weekly predictions for Austin: Strong to severe storms that moved in Tuesday night will hover over the area into Wednesday morning with large hail/damaging winds possible, followed by gusty winds and critical fire weather in the afternoon. But don't worry folks. Madam Zeroni says we are in for much quieter weather this week, setting up for sunny skies into the weekend. Expect highs in the upper 70s and lows reaching as low as the high 40s. Here are the top stories in Austin today: One hundred 3-D printed homes are in development in Austin in a collaboration between a large home builder and a Texas startup. Homebuilder Lennar Corp. and Icon, a construction-technology company, are set to start building next year in what would be the largest site for this housing type in the U.S. Here's more on the story. (The Independent) An elderly Austin woman was killed in a car crash with a tractor trailer on Oct. 21 in Washington County, Virginia. Read the local report here.
