Here are the top stories in Franklin today: Franklin Police are seeking the gunman and getaway driver in a gas station robbery that was captured on video. On Sunday night, three suspects committed an armed robbery at the Columbia Avenue Market Master gas station. Police arrested 26-year-old Tyshawn Hoesay of Nashville in connection with the incident, but are still seeking a second gunman who was wearing a red hoodie and the driver of a maroon Dodge Durango who transported the other suspects. Anyone with information about their identities is urged to contact police. (franklinpdnews.com)The City of Franklin now has four new elected officials after Wednesday's hand recount was called. The software in six voting machines malfunctioned during Tuesday's election, triggering a manual count of those ballots by the election committee. The newly-elected aldermen are Matt Brown (Ward 2), Jason Potts (Ward 3), Patrick Baggett (Ward 4), and Gabrielle Hanson won the at-large seat.
