A man who suffered a fractured skull is in stable condition Wednesday after being side-swiped by a minivan in Little Italy, the San Diego Police Department reported.
Just before 4 p.m. on Tuesday, a 50-year-old man driving a 1998 Plymouth Voyager hit a 38-year-old man as he exited his parked vehicle on the east curb line in the 2200 block of State Street. The minivan also struck the parked vehicle.
The victim was taken to a hospital with a fractured skull. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
No other information was immediately released.
The SDPD traffic division is investigating the accident.
