More Vaccines, Boosters Going Into Area Arms

By John Gibson, WNIN Oct. 26, 2021 The number of Vanderburgh County residents fully vaccinated against COVID-19 has topped 94,000. The Indiana Department of Health tallied more than 160 new full vaccinations and more than 800 booster shots in the county on the Monday dashboard. The total of local booster shots approached 14,000. In Warrick County, 68 more residents became fully vaccinated, raising that county's total to nearly 36,000. In Posey County, 20 more residents joined the ranks of fully vaccinated pushing the total beyond 12,700. And in Gibson County, 34 more residents became fully vaccinated raising the total above 15,000. Warrick saw 230 more booster shots, Posey administered 77 boosters, and Gibson added 80 booster shots.
