9 year old DNA sexed male sun conure needs to be re-homed. He was my bird that I got shortly after he was weaned but he changed his mind about me and decided my husband was his person about 5 years ago. He loves my husband to death and just wants to sit on him 24/7 but my husband didn’t sign up for that and with a new human baby in the family as well, we are having to make this heartbreaking decision. I HATE rehoming him but he is a sweet bird with the right people and deserves to have someone who can spend more time with him or who can get him a companion female bird. He is NOT a bird for beginners or anyone with small children. He needs a person or family with parrot experience. I WILL charge a rehoming fee to ensure he goes to a good home so please do not contact me wanting me to just GIVE him away for nothing. That’s insulting as well as annoying and it just won’t happen so don’t waste your time or mine please. Serious inquiries only. The rehoming fee is $500 and includes the bird, both his cages, his perch, all toys, any food/treats. I will not consider just the bird, it’s a package deal or no deal.
