Description
SAN RAFAEL, CA – The 101 Northbound Central San Rafael exit ramp will be closed for a second straight week, city officials said.
Caltrans will fully close the offramp from Saturday at 9 p.m. to Sunday at noon, officials said, noting the dates and times are subject to change and dependent on weather conditions.
Crews will complete work replacing an off-ramp bridge that was halted last week due to the storm.
Motorists are urged to be mindful of detours that will be in place. Residents can familiarize themselves with the roadway detours by visiting the Caltrans project website.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution and follow all posted directional signs.
Residents and businesses may temporarily experience increased noise levels during this operation.
This work is a part of several on-going construction projects along US-101, starting at the Golden Gate Bridge, progressing through Sausalito, and concluding in San Rafael until early winter of 2021.
Advisories will be issued for each phase of work, and updates can be found at the Caltrans project website and City of San Rafael project website.
