Press release from the Village of Lemont: 10/26/2021 Skip to Main Content The Management/Financial Analyst is a highly responsible position that will operate under the supervision and direction of the Finance Director.  The position also receives direction from the Economic & Community Development Director and other members of the senior management team regarding various projects and initiatives.  The position requires strong analytical, organizational and project-management skills.  The candidate should possess the ability to monitor and evaluate current procedures and methods using data. The goal is to improve business processes and gain efficiencies through better use of technology and other Village resources. Qualifications for the position include a bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration or a related field. A minimum of one to two years' experience in financial and/or business analysis, preferably in a municipal setting, or an equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered. Strong technical, analytical and computer skills are necessary along with the ability to adapt to new technologies.  Qualified applicants will communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.  Starting salary for this full-time non-exempt position is $55,000 with a generous benefit and leave package.
