Here are the top stories today in Los Angeles: UCLA police are seeking the public's help identifying a man they say assaulted victims at Drake Stadium Tuesday afternoon. A man described as Black/Asian and wearing a jacket and dark-colored pants approached two students at UCLA Drake Stadium Tuesday afternoon at about 5:50 p.m, according to a UCLA Police Department news release. The man allegedly got into a fight with one victim, then assaulted her and multiple others before leaving. (Los Angeles Patch)The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Wednesday for the 16th consecutive day, increasing three-tenths of a cent to $4.568, its highest amount since Oct. 18, 2012. The average price has increased 13.1 cents over the past 16 days, including seven-tenths of a cent Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 4.3 cents more than one week ago, 15.8 cents higher than one month ago, and $1.394 greater than one year ago. Officials responded to a neighborhood near Gladestone St. and Dallas Rd. around 7 a.m. Wednesday after reports of an animal wandering in the area. It wasn't until 11 a.m. that the bear came down and walked through the yard when officials used a dart gun to get it out of the tree.
