DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — October is drawing to a close, and that means Election Day is nearly upon us.
In the Nov. 2 election, residents of Mendota Heights, West Saint Paul and a portion of Eagan will vote on school board members for ISD 197.
Voters will get to choose three candidates out of 10 to fill the open positions. The terms of board members John Chandler, Marcus Hill, Maureen Ramirez expire in December, according to the district's website.
Polls will be open 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Nov. 2.
Early in-person voting began Tuesday.
For early voting, visit Two Rivers High School at 1897 Delaware Ave. in Mendota Heights, or the County Administration Center on Highway 55 in Hastings from 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. with extended hours until 5 p.m. on Nov. 1.
You can drop off your mail-in ballot until 3 p.m. on Nov. 2.
You can drop off your mail-in ballot in the week leading up to the election at Dakota County's Administration Center in Hastings or the Northern Service Center at 1 Mendota Road West in West St. Paul.
